RAM: we need RAM because it holds the data that is currently being used by the user it also the data is lost when the computer is turned off . It can be read or changed .
ROM: The ROM cannot be changed and is a read only copy of t he data. The program holds instructions for objects that such as washing machine and computer games and is not lost when computer is turned off.
